तीन वर्ष... समयको गणनामा सामान्य लाग्ने तर अनुभूतिमा गहिरो, संघर्षमा लचिलो र यात्रामा गौरवपूर्ण। YEAST (Youth for Environment And Social Transformation) को स्थापना देखिनै हामीले कृषिको मौलिकता, युवाको ऊर्जा, र समाजप्रतिको उत्तरदायित्वलाई समेटेर कुनै न कुनै स्वरूपमा सार्थक उत्पादन दिने सपना पालेका थियौं। ती सपनाहरूलाई शब्दमा उतार्ने हाम्रो सामूहिक प्रयासको परिणतिका रूपमा, हामीले "कृषि सारथी" पुस्तक प्रकाशन गरेका छौं—जसले केवल पाना पल्टाउने होइन, सोच बदल्ने हिम्मत बोकेको छ। २०८२ सालको बैशाख ४ गते , YEAST को तेस्रो वार्षिकोत्सव को पावन अवसरमा हामीले “कृषि सारथी” को औपचारिक विमोचन गर्न पाएका छौं। त्यो ऐतिहासिक क्षणलाई अझ गौरवशाली बनाइदिनु भएको थियो माननीय श्री दिनेश पन्थी , मन्त्री, कृषि, भूमि व्यवस्था तथा सहकारी मन्त्रालय, लुम्बिनी प्रदेशको प्रमुख आतिथ्यमा। उहाँको उपस्थितिले हाम्रो प्रयासलाई सरकारी मान्यता मात्र होइन, प्रेरणाको ठूलो ऊर्जा प्रदान गर्‍यो। विमोचन कार्यक्रममा कृषि क्षेत्रका विभिन्न वरिष्ठ विज्ञ, युवा अभियन्ता, सरोकारवालाहरू, लेखक तथा पाठकहरूको व्यापक उपस्थिति रहँ...

This vital initiative was led by YEAST’s Founder President, Dr. Akrit Rijal , and supported by a dedicated team of eight professionals, combining expertise, compassion, and a shared mission to promote animal welfare and public health in rural Nepal. Animal Birth Control and Rabies Vaccination Program - XV

A Milestone in Animal Welfare On February 15, 2025 , the Youth for Environment And Social Transformation (YEAST) , in collaboration with HAPPY - Youth for Human, Animal, and Plant Protection , successfully conducted the XV season of the "Animal Birth Control and Anti-Rabies Vaccination Program" in Rampur Municipality, Palpa . This initiative, aimed at ensuring animal welfare and community safety, provided essential vaccinations and sterilization services to 150 dogs . Why This Program Matters Rabies is a fatal disease that poses a significant threat to both animals and humans . Stray dog overpopulation can lead to increased cases of dog bites, the spread of zoonotic diseases, and conflicts between humans and animals.
